Im 14, 6’0, and 156 lbs. I started doing pushups 3 weeks ago and my arms have been getting bigger but i dont know any other excersises but Situps and Pushups. How can I get a good full body workout at home. Also, how can i become more agile.
- I only have a yoga mat at home.
- Does agility help your speed? If not than what does and how can I get faster?

Be CONFIDENT!
Confidence is a huge part of showing horses.
If your horse misbehaves, correct it and go on like nothing happened. The judges will notice that sort of positive attitude.
Also, gypsy vanner’s are usually pretty flashy, use that to your advantage.
If it is a pattern class, remember each element is scored separate from the rest, so if you mess one up, make the next one AWESOME.
Don’t forget that it is your first show, and so you have a little wiggle room on making mistakes.

It’s like a 60-minute intense workout packed into just 4 minutes. It involves intense cardio for 20 seconds and then 10 seconds of rest, on a continuous cycle, 8 times in total.
Trust me, this is the best workout you can get in that amount of time. You will be absolutely unable to move after this workout.

80% of weight loss is diet.
You can eat a healthy diet and lose weight.
You can eat a healthy diet and exercise and lose more weight.
You can exercise and eat a poor diet and not lose and even gain weight.
A good healthy diet high in fiber, lean meats, eggs, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, antioxidant foods, healthy beverages and low in added sugar and salt help people lose weight, lower cholesterol, increase energy, improve brain function, lower blood pressure, reduce cancer risk and have a more positive lifestyle!
You need to eat a lot more food and a lot more fiber!
Diets that exclude foods from any food group are fad diets and do not lead to permanent weight loss or solve any other health issues.
First, try to kick your fiber intake to 40 grams of both soluble and insoluble fiber.
Whatever you do, get your fiber from your food, not from a jar.
Fruits and vegetables have good fiber in them. A high fiber diet increases the metabolism.
Try a breakfast cereal with at least 20% of recommended daily allowance of fiber in it. They are usually low in sugar so there is a double benefit. Blueberries or raspberries on top add more fiber and antioxidants. But fresh or frozen, not the kind in syrup. Oatmeal with berries or a bit of fresh honey is also good.
Raw nuts are a great source of fiber, healthy fats, and antioxidants. Avocados are the best.
Lots of beans, peas, and grains are high fiber. Whole grain breads. Fiber kicks up the metabolism so you actually burn more calories. These foods will give you more gas in the beginning but if eaten daily, the bacteria in the digestive tract will elevate lowering the gas output.
This will get you on the path for a healthy daily bowel movement. This helps clean the system and aids healthy digestion.
I know it goes against everything you’ve heard but eating lots of the right foods will actually help you lose weight!
Next, take an age appropriate basic daily multivitamin. Don’t look at your multivitamin as nutrition but more as an insurance policy. Think of it as filling in the gaps in your daily diet as opposed to a primary source of nutrients.
You have to drink lots of water to be healthy. But you can disguise it. Fill your glass all the way full with ice before pouring low sugar beverages. Try iced green tea with a splash of orange juice in it for sweet. More antioxidants. Add lemon juice to water for flavor. Slice up a cucumber and float it in pitcher of water. Gives it salty fresh taste. But you must drink up to 100 oz of water daily to help your body get rid of waste and the natural toxins.
Last, you need to get 7-9 hours of quality sleep depending on your age. All recent sleep studies report a connection between poor sleep patterns and weight gain. This includes going to bed as close to the same time every night including weekends. Most of us stay up late Friday and Saturday night and it throws us off.
You must combine a healthy diet with exercise to multiply the benefit. Whether an hour a day in the weight room or just a 30 minute brisk walk every day, the added benefit of a regular exercise program really do increase and accelerate healthy weight loss.
I lost 30 pounds in 5 months by spending my money at the grocery and gym and have kept it off for over two years. Less than 3% of people that attempt weight loss lose it and keep it off for two years. It is not easy. It is a lifestyle change.

Try to eat lots of fruits and vegetables and lean protein and to get your body in great shape, try Pilates. Essentially, all Pilates exercises are abdominal exercises, working from the powerhouse and they zero in on the abdominals, build your core strength, and flatten your stomach.

OK, I’m 13 years old, kinda skinny, and going to th grade if that helps.
Since I’m kinda skinny, I wanna get stronger. I already know about eatting vegies and fruits and keep the sweets low.
But mainly, I want to know some good exercises. Any websites? I’m currently spending about 15-20min a day doing push-ups at night.
BTW, I’m usually kinda hyper and have quite some energy.

At your age don’t do weights!!! Just do Crunches Pull Up’s Jump rope Jog 10-15 mnts a day and Sprint you will be knocking out kids around your age like babies in What ever sport you do!!! ; )

Assuming your not over weight, the first thing you want to do is find out what the standards are for your age (get that from your recruiter) and start training from there. You need to start a running program, learn how to do push ups and a lot of them as well as sit ups. Work on them everyday. Mornings are the best. You can join a gym to keep you motivated if you need it. By the way, learn how to jump rope. You will see results quicker on your cardio and damn good for the arm and shoulder muscles.

lookup interval training for your cardio & hypersetting for your resistance workouts- they both help with your anaroebic capacity & compliment your track/field goals (more work for less & explosiveness),
once my body is in better shape (esp joint health), i myself, am going to introduce some hi intensity power/olympic lifts, like clean/jerk & squat.
in terms of toning, proper form & technique will natural tone up your core.

I had my son 6 months ago and went from a happy 145ish to almost 235…
Currently I weight around 200, I would love to eventually get back down to 150 but its so far ahead of me Id currently be happy at 180 for summer so I would love to loose 20 lbs.
I will eat healthy but not exercise and no weight comes off, im guessing its really necessary to work out?, I just figured from my work (daycare teacher) running after little kids all day burned enough, on top of being a full time mom but I guess not.
My question is, if I stuck to a calorie intake of about 900-1000 calories
how much should I work out to see results, and what is the most I could loose in a week.
Its hard because if I don’t see results I don’t stick to it, I would love to loose a little in a week to stick too it.
When I was younger I went from 167.5 pounds to 141 in 2 months, but I didn’t eat, and there is no way I could do that now. Im old and have a family lol.

No one should ever eat less than 1200 calories per day. It won’t give you the energy that you need to do anything. And you are more likely to splurge because you will be starving . And the key is to burn more calories than you take in and it can’t just be any old food, it should be healthy calories. And believe it or not walking helps shed more fat than running. Maybe try taking a stroll with your son every day or every other day as well as eating healthy. That or if you want to go to the gym, you should start with somewhere between 30 minutes to an hour of cardio 3-5 times a week. Weight training is for when you want to start toning. Shredding comes first.
